INFO: Masks are required inside the theatre, except when actively eating and drinking; social distancing is not required at this theatre at this time. The Bethesda Row Cinema showcases a number of modern amenities including a full-service bar, luxury reserved seating in each auditorium, RealD 3D projection and an upscale concession menu. Each of the eight auditoriums include large screens, state of the art sound systems and special leather chairs designed to provide maximum comfort to patrons. Plus, the Bethesda Row Cinema features a digital system for the satellite feed of live domestic and international performances.
The theatre interior combines comfort and style with a contemporary feel, from the fully automated Box Office with specially lit LED screens featuring films and show times to high end wall coverings and oversized leather-look covered lounge-style seating in the bar, every aspect was designed to meet the demands of today’s discerning customers. As you go down the escalator, there is a shimmering screen over the lobby with glistening crystals. The full service bar features a wide variety of beer, wine and liquor including many local brews and film-themed cocktails.
PARKING: The closest parking garage is across from the theatre below the Darcy apartment complex. Parking is $1.00 per hour or fraction of an hour. There is also one large parking garage between Woodmont and Arlington on Bethesda Avenue. Levels 2 and 3 have 4-hour meters and Levels 4 and 5 have 15-hour meters at $.80/hour. The first two levels (G and 1) have 2-hour meters only. The metered time runs between 7:00am-10:00pm Monday through Friday. Parking is free Saturday, Sunday and County Holidays, while street parking is free Sunday only.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The theatre is minutes by foot from the Bethesda Metro station (on the Woodmont side), off the Red line. The Bethesda 8 trolley can be boarded at the Metro station; it takes riders on a scenic tour of downtown Bethesda before dropping them off directly across the street from the theatre. The trolley is free of charge.
