Located in the Midtown Promenade Center (at 8th & Monroe), the Midtown Art Cinema is quickly becoming the premier home for independent, foreign language and documentary films in the heart of intown Atlanta.
The concession stand boasts a fine selection to choose from including gourmet candies, baked goods and a full espresso bar. The art deco design is an inviting place for guests to meet and visit with friends before a film. It does not take more than a few steps outside of the theatre to enjoy international cuisine at not one, but two restaurants in the courtyard. Several other eateries are also located in the shopping center.
The Midtown Art Cinema welcomes customers with special needs. All auditoriums are fully accessible. There is also a special box office window located just inside the entrance doors, as well as accommodations at our concession stand and restrooms.
PARKING: Three hours of validated free parking (with purchase of a movie ticket) is available near the theatre, which is located in a shopping center. Inquire at the box office.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The Midtown Art Cinema is easily accessible using Atlanta's public transportation system, MARTA. The nearest MARTA train station is the Midtown Station (on the RED and GOLD lines), located on 10th Street 1.5 miles from the theater. From there, both the #36 and the #99 MARTA buses stop near the Midtown Promenade which is located at the intersection of 8th Street and Monroe Drive.
