Writer/director Charles Chaplin's “silent” masterpiece (he wrote an original music score for the film) returns to the big screen! With his usual charm and bad luck, Chaplin's most famous character The Tramp finds himself a factory worker fighting the mind-numbing monotony and time-clock rigidity of industrialization. Includes several classic comedy sequences, among them the famous "feeding machine" scene in which Chaplin travels though the gears of a huge steel plant. Paulette Goddard (The Great Dictator) co-stars.
