INFO: Landmark Theatres’ flagship theatre in Los Angeles, The Landmark, offers 12 state-of-the-art auditoriums and an upscale wine bar for the discerning movie-goer who is looking for a wide array of quality film choices in a sophisticated environment.

Located in the Westside Pavilion, The Landmark offers a number of food and beverage options before, during and after the film. The concession stand features gourmet, health conscious and specialty snacks, including freshly-popped popcorn with real butter and unique items like pizza made fresh on location, Hebrew National hot dogs and La Brea Bakery hot pretzels with gourmet mustards. The menu at The Wine Bar, a lounge situated on the main floor of the theatre, includes a variety of beer and wine, including many local offerings and film-themed cocktails, as well as light appetizers and entrees for a snack before or after a movie.

The Landmark’s auditoriums feature reserved stadium seating, extra leg room, leather-style seats and unobstructed sight lines. Several auditoriums at the theatre are “Screening Lounges,” offering an unparalleled movie-going experience for patrons who want to enjoy a film from the comfort of love seats. Additionally, all auditoriums are outfitted with state-of-the-art projection and sound equipment. Strategically located throughout the theatre, customers will find plasmas and LCD screens displaying custom designed content including show times and movie trailers as well as concession and retail items available for sale.

The Landmark also caters to special events by providing added technology features, such as a video simulcast system for broadcasting overflow screenings, presentations and Q&As, and WiFi connectivity.

In 2008, the critically-acclaimed Westside Tavern opened on the ground floor of the building. The upscale restaurant is a modern and lively gastropub known for its “rock-solid, high-end pub food” (Zagat), handcrafted cocktails, California micro brews and boutique wines. Chef Benjamin Cohn has been honored as one of the country’s top culinary talents in the inaugural edition of Best Chefs America.
