Info: Renaissance Place Cinema

INFO: 5 Screens DLP Digital Projection and Sound. Opened Summer 2000. Located in downtown Highland Park, Landmark’s Renaissance Place Cinema is the Northshore’s premiere venue for independent, foreign language and select studio releases. Extensively renovated in July of 2013, the theatre features a number of modern amenities including the addition of a full-service bar and lounge, an expanded concession menu and new plush, leather seating in every auditorium. As an extra special touch, two of the five auditoriums are now screening lounges featuring specially designed leather recliners with electric controls for added comfort. Featuring the latest technology, each auditorium is outfitted with crystal clear digital projection and sound.

Particular attention was paid to creating a comfortable place to have a glass of wine, a cocktail or a beer before, during or after the film. From the oversized lounge-style seating to the actual bar made from solid walnut and rolled steel, the menu features a wide variety of beer, wine and liquor including local brews and film-themed cocktails. Customers can savor an alcoholic beverage in this new area or take it with them to enjoy in the auditorium during the movie! A new concession stand features an expanded menu with Landmark’s famous fresh hot popcorn, as well as organic snacks and cappuccinos. New menu items include goat cheese tomato basil quiche and sweet potato fries.
