In January 2009 Landmark Theatres introduced its newest Screening Lounge Auditoriums at Berkley’s Classic Shattuck Cinemas. These unique auditoriums — the first and only ones of their kind in the East Bay area — give audiences an unparalleled movie-going experience. Working in partnership with the LoveSac® Furniture Company, Landmark completely re-invented two auditoriums in the Shattuck with a variety of unique seating options including couches, loveseats, chairs and ottomans, as well as the original LoveSac®.

Landmark Theatres first introduced the Screening Lounge auditoriums in their Los Angeles flagship theatre, The Landmark, where they won widespread acclaim from audiences.

The remaining auditoriums have been outfitted with upscale stadium-style leather seating. Landmark consistently strives to deliver the best and most innovative amenities to complement the terrific films they showcase.
