The Ritz East theatre was opened by Ritz Theatres founder Ramon L. Posel in 1999. Ownership transferred to Landmark Theatres in March 2007. The theatre is going strong, never wavering from its founder’s original mission to give Philadelphia residents an opportunity to see the best in independent, foreign, and documentary film.

 

Pricing

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday all shows after 5pm are $8.50.
• Saturday, Sunday & Holidays are $9.00 for all shows after the 1st matinee show.
• Friday shows after 5pm are $9.00.
• Wednesday all shows are $6.00.
• Monday thru Friday all shows before 5pm are $6.00.
• 1st matinee show on Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays is $6.75.
• Seniors (65+) are $6.00 any time except Saturdays & Holidays.
• Students (with ID) are $6.75 any time except Saturdays & Holidays.
• All prices include a 5% city amusement tax.

 

Advance Ticket Sales

Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.landmarktheatres.com

We accept credit card (American Express, Visa or MasterCard) telephone reservations for a specific show. Phone reservations will be taken until three hours before show time. There is a $1.00 service charge for each ticket reserved.

To order tickets over the phone, please call the box office.

 

Admission

Children under the age of six are not admitted and those from six to sixteen must be accompanied by a parent.

No one is to be seated after a film has been showing for 15 minutes.

 

 

Ritz East Parking

Discount parking at Auto Park at 2nd & Sansom Street (the parking garage at the Ritz East with entrances on 2nd Street and Front Street between Chestnut and Walnut). Price is $6.50 with validation when parking after 5:00pm.

Discount parking at Front and Walnut Street parking lot (in front of Ritz East entrance). Price is $5.00 Saturday and Sunday afternoons (must exit by 7:30pm on Saturday).
